The conference 'Redesignations: Architectural and Cinematic Spacing' seeks to question both the notion of the homogeneity of space and point out elementary gaps in a simple equation of architectural and cinematic spaces. The relationship and the reciprocal influence of these two art forms will play a central role, as will an investigation of the symbolic order of private and public space.
